HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000016_pg148-2- Motion by La Vague to approve the sub - division request for Mr. Larry Ferguson, 7629 Spring Lake Road, subject to removal of garage, recording of final survey and payment of fees. Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. A proposal for the developement of the "Johnson Farm" property was presented by Brauer and Associates and discussed. The Council approved (informally) the concept of the proposal and advised the developer of the following Council requests for changes in the proposal: 1. Park land not acceptable by the Village. 2. As much of designated "P" (public) land as possible be added to proposed lots. 3. All efforts should be made to remove Cul -De -Sacs from proposal. 4. No variance to set -back requirements would be allowed. (recommended by the Planning Commission) 5. Rezoning would be needed on this project. Motion by Malvin to release an impounded weapon to owner, Mr. Koelmdorfer, 2319 Knoll Drive, subject to final approval by the Police Department. Seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes. Mr. Robert Edmond, Electrical Inspector reported on the regional meeting of the Electrical Inspectors Organization. Mr. Edmond was requested to prepare a report on the Village Hall lighting. The matter of trucks entering Highway # 8 at County Road H -2 area without a flagman or a legal stop was referred to the Highway Department. Mr. Charles Jackson, Civil Defense Director, reported that the shortage of equipment on the new Civil Defense Truck will be handled by Mr. Hodges. Mr. Comstock, Engineer, presented the sewer progress report. Mr. Sheldon Boehm, Engineer, reported on bids received this evening at 7:00 P.M. on road project 1965 -1 and recommended acceptance of the low bidder, Dunkley Surfacing. Motion by Hodges to concur with the Engineers recommendation and to award the contract for Street Improvement Project 1965 -1 to Dunkley Surfacing Company, low bidder on the project. Low bid was in the amount of $37,633.00. Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. (Street Improvement Project 1965 -1 is a part of the over all sewer project) A resolution reapportioning certain assessments and abating a certain assessment was presented by the Attorney. , Motion by Blanchard to adopt Resolution Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. A Resolution naming persons eligible to handle N.S.S.S.D, permit applications for this Village was presented. Motion by Blanchard to adopt Resoltuion Seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes.
