The Mayor called three times for objectors, there were none. The Mayor closed the hearing at 8:45 p,m. Motion by Malvin to rezone Lots 111 and 112 except the West 1251 thereof, Spring Lake Park Knolls Addition, Ramsey County, subject to 51 easement along rear line of property from B -2 to R -2, conditioned on application and approval of building permit. Seconded by Johnson. 5 ayes. Mr. Lang reported that he has inspected the roads and found them in poor condition. He will meet with the Engineer and Contractor re- garding the Spring break -up. Mr. Lang stated that he can be reached at 786 -2976 24 hours a day regarding any Village problems he can be of assisstance on. Mr. Malvin read the B & E Patrol report for December. (r)n file) The December Police Report and Annual Police Report was read by Mr. Malvin. (On file) Motion by Blanchard to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute the contract with B & E Patrol for Animal Control during 1966. Seconded by Malvin. 5 ayes. The Engineer was directed to instruct the Sewer contractors that sewage hauling contracts may be required by the Council if completion dates are not met on or before schedule. The Engineer recommended that the certified checks from bidders whose bids were not accepted be returned, The Clerk so instructed. Mr. Meyers reported that he attended the meeting with the Board of County Commissioners regarding the bids recieved on the extension of County Road H. The low bidder, Chies Construction, did not get the job. The second low bidder received the contract. The Village was served with papers regarding restrictions to be removed from Lots 9 and 12, Spring Lake Park Hillview Addition. The Attorney was directed not to appear. The Attorney is preparing a memorandum on the new zoning laws to be presented at the next meeting. Motion by Blanchard to adopt Ordinance # 133 redesignating Fourth Street as Bona Road. Seconded by Rustad. 5 ayes. Motion by Blanchard to adopt ')rdinance # 134 regulating the use of highways within the Village of Mounds View, incorporating, by ref- erence, provisions of the State Highway Traffic Regulation Act and re- pealing Ordinance # 105. Seconded by Lang. 5 ayes.
