Police Department. The Chief of Police and /or Police Ccmmissioner
to recommend approval cf wage change each year. Raises are not
automatic.
Patrolmen $425.00 per month - starting salary
450.00 " " - first year
475.00 " " - second year
500.00 11 11 - third year
525.00 " " - fourth year, maximum
Police Sgt. 575.00 " " - maximum
Police Chief 625.00 " " - maximum

The above motion will be effective February 1, 1966.
Mr. Skiba reported that we have 22 homes connected to the
Sanitary Sewer.
Mr. Jackson, Civil Defense Director, asked approval of the
Council to attend the fishing contest January 30th at White Bear
and February i3 at Arden Hills and help direct traffic as requested
by their Civil Defense departments. The request was granted.
The Mayor opened the Public Hearing at 8 :30 p.m. for water and
sewer extension on Groveland Road, 2501 North of Sherwood Road to
County Road J, County Road J - Groveland Road to Red Oak Drive.
The Clerk read the legal notice and attested to the printing
and mailing.
The improvement was originally petitioned by the following
people and presented to the Village Council December 6, 1965.

The Mayor closed the hearing at 8 :45.
