Mr. Malvin was excused at 8 :45 p.m.
The Village Engineer, Mr. B(ehm, presented the specs for the
cleaning and painting of the filtration tanks.
Motion by Blanchard to accept the specifications for the
cleaning and painting of the filtration tanks. Seconded by Rustad.
4 ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to advertise for bids for the cleaning and
painting of the filtration tanks. Bid closing date to be March 7, 1966
at 6:30 p.m. Seconded by, Johnson. 4 ayes.
A letter from Ramsey County regarding County Road H - Rice
Creek right -of -way was read and filed. Mr. Snyker, Ramsey County
Assistant Engineer explained the reason for the request of assessment
abatement. The estimated assessment is $1,380.00, this amount to be
confirmed by the Engineer and Attorney before abatements
Motion by Blanchard to direct the Attorney to prepare a res-
olution abating assessments on above mentioned property. Seconded
v Rustad. 4 ayes,
Well House # 2 needs a heat exchanger. With the Village doing
some of the work the cost would be more reasonable; The Engineer was
directed to contact Ziegler Co. and ask them to appear at the next
agenda meeting.
Motion by Rustad to allow Ccmstock and Davis to do survey work
for Robert Eigenheer. Seconded by Johnson. 4 ayes.
Mr. Meyers reported that he had inspected the tornado clean -up
with an 0.E.P. Inspector. Categories A, B and C are completed.
Mr. Meyers read a memo regarding the bid and monies due and
owing Lametti and Sons. (On file).
Motion by Johnson to order the Attorney to enforce a lein on
all monies in possession of the Village due and owing Lametti and Sons
in an amount of not less than $13,850 nor more than $47,998.50 and
to take all other actions to protect the interests of the Village.
Seconded by Rustad. 4 ayes.
Motion by Rustad to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute
and to convey certain properties to Stella Skiba and Erwin Herbst
acquired for easements and that are no longer necessary.
