Motion by Rusted to set public hearing for John Downing for February 28, 1966 at 9:00 p.m. The property involved: NY of NW% of SW of Sec. 7, T. 30, R. 23, except the W, 65 feet by 330 feet taken for Silver Lake Road, also except any other part acquired for highway purposes. This was referred to the Planning Commission. Seconded by Blanchard. 4 ayes, Motion by Blanchard to establish a wage schedule as follows: First 3 months Next 3 months Next 6 months Next 12 months Next 12 months $1.65 per hour 1.75 per hour 1.85 per hour 2.00 per hour 2.10 per hour Salary increases subject to recommendation by department head and ipproval by Council. Seconded by Johnson. 4 ayes. Motion by Blanchard to raise the s2lary of Jeanne Perry to $1.85 per hour effective February 1, 1966 and Betty Ehrhardt to $1.75 per hour effective February 1, 1966. Seconded by Rustad. 4 ayes. Mr. Rustad reported the possibility of the Sewer District paying over time for issuance of sewer permits. The Council is to investigate the possibility of hiring a third man for the maintenance department. Motion by Blanchard to adjourn. Seconded by Johnson. 4 ayes.
