HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000017_pg22Proceedings of the Village Council Village of Mounds View Ramsey County, Minnesota Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting of the Village Council was called to order at 6 :30 p.m. by Mayor Rustad at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway 10, March 7, 1966. Roll Call: Mayor I. C. Rustad Clerk L. J. Blanchard Trustee R. S. Johnson Trustee G. K. Lang Trustee P. Malvin Also Present: Engineer S. Boehm Deputy Clerk J. La Casse Public Works W. Skiba The Mayor declared the bids closed on repainting of the water treatment tanks. The Clerk opened and the Engineer read the bids as follows: See attached sheet. Motion by Blanchard to refer bids to the Engineer for tabulation and recommendation for a report at the next regular meeting. Seconded by Lang. 5 ayes. Motion by Blanchard to pay bills submitted totaling $618,16. Seconded by Malvin. 5 ayes. Motion by Blanchard to adopt Resolution # 228 appointing I. C. Rustad as the Village Representative to the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer District. Seconded by Johnson. 4. ayes. (Rustad abstained) Motion by Malvin to make to make the N.S.S.S.D. appointment term of not more than two consecutive years by any one Councilman. Seconded by Rustad. 5 ayes. Motion by Blanchard to accept Plans and Specs for Sewer Project 1966 -2. This is part of the original sewer project on Silver Lake Road. Seconded by Johnson. 5 ayes. Mr. Edmond, Electrical Inspector, asked the Council to adopt the National Electrical Code as revised. The Attorney was instructed to prepare an amendment to the Electrical Code Ordinance. Motion by Blanchard to hire James Schlicktmann, 2475 Clearview, as a Maintenance Employee, as per recommendation of Walter Skiba, Physical examination required by the Village. Seconded by Rustad. 5 ayes.
