HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000017_pg25Proceedings of the Village Council Village of Mounds View Ramsey County, Minnesota The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Acting Mayor Perry Malvin at 8 :00 p.m. on March 14, 1966 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway 10. Roll Call: Acting Mayor Clerk Trustee Trustee Absent: Mayor Also Present: Attorney Engineer Public Works Deputy Clerk Perry Malvin Lloyd J. Blanchard Richard Johnson Gary Lang Ingram C. Rustad Richard Meyers Sheldon Boehm Walter Skiba Joanne La Casse Motion by Johnson to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held February 28, 1966. Seconded by Lang. 4 ayes. Motion by Lang to approve the minutes of the special meeting held March 7, 1966. Seconded by Johnson. 4 ayes. Residents questioned the cost difference of the sewer permit. The Clerk explained that the provisional permit issued from October 18, 1965 to January 18, 1965 was $15.00 due to additional inspections. After January 18 the permit was $10.00. Mr. Snyker, Ramsey County Assistant Engineer, appeared regarding the construction of County Road H. The matter of assess- ments was brought up again. The Village has paid more than half. The matter was referred to the next agenda meeting. Motion by Lang to send a Resolution to the New Brighton Village Council requesting action on the storm sewer work in con- junction with County Road H construction. Also to consider the construction of storm sewer to relieve the water problem between County Road H and Long Lake Road. ' Seconded by Johnson. 4 ayes. Mr. E. A. Dropps questioned the size needed for sewer lines and water lines for the property at H -2 and Knollwood. He was referred to the Engineer. The rezoning of Lots 8 and 9 Spring Lake Park Knolls Addition was discussed at great length. They were informed this is a legal matter and advised to consult an Attorney. It is a Civil matter between the property owners and Ramsey County and the Village was not directly involved.
