VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was
called to order by Mayor Rustad at 8 :00 p.m. on March 28, 1966 at
the Village Hall, 2401 Highway 10.

Motion by Johnson to approve the minutes of the regular
meeting held March 14, 1966. Seconded by Malvin. 5 ayes
Motion by Lang to approve the minutes of the special
meeting held March 26, 1966. Seconded by Johnson. 5 ayes
Mr. Rustad reported for the N.S.S.S.D. that a 60" pipe
is being installed to service Shoreview Village and Villages North
of Mounds View. This pipe is being installed just north of Hillview
Road under Highway 8 in Mounds View.
Mr. Robert Ehlers read a letter in answer to Mr. J. L.
Sullivan's letter dated March 14, 1966. (Original on file).
Mrs. Florence Peterson, 2277 Knoll Drive, read a letter
concerning Mounds View and asked about the possibility of having
signs designating "This is Mounds View ". This was referred to the
Mounds View Lions and J. C.'s to investigate the cost.
Mr. Edwin A. Dropps appeared before the Council.
Motion by Blanchard to concur with the Building Inspector's
recommendation and approve new building plan for Dropps and allow
Building Inspector to issue permit for same. Seconded by Johnson.

Mr. Johnson reported that the matter of open basements
on Lois and Knoll has been referred to the Attorney.
Mr. Lang reported that spot repairing is being made on
Village streets.
