At 8:30 p.m. the Mayor opened the public hearing on
for the East of Lot 11, Block 1, Greenfield Addition.
The Clerk read the legal and attested to the publishing
and mailing of the required notices.
The Mayor called three times for objections. There were
none.
The Mayor closed the hearing at 8 :35.
Motion by Blanchard to conditionally rezone the above
property from Rlb to R -2. Final rezoning subject to application
and approval of building permit. Seconded by Lang. 5 ayes.
Mr. Johnson reported that he has not had any reply in
regards to the open basements on Greenwood and Eastwood.
Motion by Blanchard to authorize and direct the Attorney
to proceed under the dilapidated building law on the above basements.
Seconded by Johnson. 5 ayes.
Mr. Lang reported that they are spot patching in bad
areas. Mr. Lang suggested that the new contracts include some
provision for soil cover to eliminate the blowing and drifting sand.
Also, a possible amendment to the Building Ordinance concerning soil
cover.
Motion by Lang to set a public hearing for rezoning the
N. 221.8 feet of the S. 506.8 feet of Lot 53, Auditors Subdivision
# 89 from Rib to R -3. Public Hearing to be held April 25 at 8:30 p.m.
Seconded by Rustad. 5 ayes.
Mr. Malvin read the Police Report and B. & E. Patrol Report
for March. ( -n file.)
Mr. Malvin reported that the sewage problem on.hillview
has not been corrected. The Attorney and Justice of Peace suggested
calling the State Department of Health and Village Health Officer.
