The Council is to investigate the B & E Kennels. They
are charged with being unclean and improperly kept. Mr. Bona will
be requested to appear at the next agenda meeting.
The Police report for April was read any.:. filed.
A letter from Kermit Hedman, Ramsey County Sheriff regarding
the Junior Sheriff Picnic was read.
A petition for water on Spring View Lang was recieved and
referred to the Engineer.
The drainage problem at 6969 Knollwood Drive was referred
to the Engineer and Attorney.
Mr. Johnson reported that the Recreati(z Department has
toured the Parks and the work is proceeding.
Mr. Lang reported that repair work is being done on the
bad streets.
An application for rezoning was rec -,.vei from Mr. Herbst.
This is for 22.02 acres near the intersection Df Highway 10 and
County Road H. The application was referred to the Planning
Commission. Motion by Rustad to set hearing date for June 6, 1966
at 7 :00 p.m. Seconded by Blanchard. 4 ayes.
The possibility of destroying the old houses at 8375 and
8386 Groveland Road was referred to the Attorrey.
The Engineer reported on the results of the bid opening
held at 12:30 p.m. this date.
Motion by Blanchard to concur with the Engineer's recom-
mendation and award contracts to low bidders as follows:
1966 -3 Schedule A. Sanitary Sewer one Surface Water
Drainage - Awarded to Northern Contracting in the amount of
$393,000.00. (Between County Road H and County Rcad I).
1966 -3 Schedule B. Sanitary Sewer and Surface Water
Drainage - Awarded to Sandstrom and Hafner in the amount of
$108,700.00. (Between County Road I and Higlrvay 10) .
1966 -3 Schedule C. Sewer and Water - . \warded to Sandstrom'
and Hafner. (Spring Lake Road)
Seconded by Johnson. 4 ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to accept plans and specs for Improve-
ment Project 1966 -4. Seconded by Lang. 4 ayes.
