Three of the six property owners benefited by storm sewer on Knollwood were present. They are not in favor of an open ditch. Would prefer conduit for a number of reasons. This is being handled by the Attorney for easements. The Mayor announced that July 7th at 8:00 p.m. there will be a special meeting. At 9:00 the Mayor opened the Public Hearing on Rezoning Lots 106 through 111 - Spring lake Park Hillview Addition. The Deputy Clerk read the legal notice and attested to publishing and mailing of same. Mr. Barth explained plans for the area. A shopping center type building is planned. Mr. Lang reported that the Planning Commission has approved the rezoning. Mayor Rustad called for objectors: Hillyard - Highway #10 - would like it to be residental. Mayor Rustad called twice more for objectors. There were no ^e. itnr. Clarence Peterson spoke in favor of the rezoning. The Mayor closed the hearing at 9:15. Motion by Malvin to conditionally rezone Lots 106 through 111 - Spring Lake Park Hillview Addition from R -3 to B -3. Seconded by Lang. Rustad - Aye, Malvin - Aye, Lang - Aye, Johnson - Aye. Mr. Fritz, 8072 Long Lake Road, raised several questions regarding sewer, water, roads, etc. The Mayor declared Mr. Fritz out of order. When Mr. Fritz refused to recognize the Chairman the meeting was recessed for ten minutes. The meeting was reconvened at 10 :55. Mr. Fritz again raised several questions and then thanked the Council for their cooperation and consideration.
