HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000018_pg093Proceedings of the Village Council Village of Mounds View Ramsey County, Minnesota Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Rustad at 7 :10 p.m. on July 18, 1966 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10. Officials Present: Mayor Clerk Trustee Trustee Absent: Trustee Also Present: Engineer Attorney Inspector Ingram C. Rustad Lloyd J. Blanchard Perry Malvin Gary Lang Richard Johnson Shelly Boehm Richard Meyers Walter Skiba The Lois - Knoll - Hillview road problem was discussed at length after a report from the Engineer. The original plot has an apparent error of 1 degree thereby making it impossible to locate the roar' properly. Motion by Rustad to accept the Engineer's premise that there is a 1 degree error on the original plot at the intersection of Lois and Knoll and to instruct the Engineer to make the necessary correction at that point and to proceed with then laying out of the centerline of those roads in question. Seconded by Blanchard. 4 Ayes. The Mayor opened the public hearing on the Brighton Lane curb and gutter proposal. The Engineer stated that the cost would be approxi- mately $2475 per front foot. The Council agreed that a corner radius would be placed at all four corners and that the cost of said radius would be assessed against the entire project. The Mayor called three times for objectors and there were none. The hearing was closed at 8 :20 p.m. Motion by Rustad to order the improvement. Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes.
