HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000018_pg097Proceedings of the Village Council Village of Mounds View Ramsey County, Minnesota The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Rustad at 8:00 p.m. on July 25, 1966 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10. Officials Present: Mayor Clerk Trustee Trustee Trustee Ingram Rustad Lloyd J. Blanchard Perry Malvin, Gary Lang Richard Johnson Also Present: Engineer Shelly Boehm Mr. Ferguson presented an application for a house moving permit. Motion by Rustad to set a Public Hearing for House Moving. Hearing to be held August 8, 1966 at 8:30 p.m. Seconded by Johnson. 5 Ayes. The Spring View Lane Water Improvement Project was discussed. Motion by Blanchard to approve the water project 327 feet West of Knollwood Drive. Seconded by Malvin. 3 Ayes. (Rustad, Blanchard, Malvin, - Aye; Johnson, Lang, - Naye) The Knoll Drive Road Improvement was again discussed and Mr. Lang and Engineer Boehm were directed to meet with homeowners on the site on Tuesday, July 26 at 8 :00 a.m. and settle the matter so that the road could be completed. The Mayor announced that the Village Officials are invited to participate in the Ramsey County Fair Parade to be held July 27, 1966. The Engineer was directed to make available a work schedule of the various road projects in the Village. The question of raises for the maintenance department was discussed. The policy as set previously is to have a six month probation period and the first raise will be considered after the first of the year. The Building Inspector recommended a delay on the variance request of Mr. D. Hanson for an extension to the front of his house.
