HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000018_pg100Proceedings of the Village Council Village of Mounds View Ramsey County, Minnesota Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting of the Village Council was called to order by Mayor Rustad at 6:30 P.M. on August 1, 1966 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10. Officials Present: Mayor Clerk Trustee Trustee Trustee Ingram C. Rustad Lloyd J. Blanchard Richard Johnson Perry Malvin Gary Lang Also Present: Engineer Shelly Boehm Public Works Walter Skiba Petitions were received for curb and gutter improvement on Eastwood Road from County Road H to Woodcrest and for Greenwood Drive from Woodale to Woodcrest. Motion by Blanchard to set a public hearing for petitioned improvements on Greenwood Drive and Eastwood Road. Hearing will be held on August 15, 1966 at 7 :00 P.M. Seconded by Johnson. 5 Ayes. Motion by Johnson to set special assessment hearing for Lot 28, Knollwood Park, Messiah Lutheran Church property, to re- institute the special assessment levied for $485.65 for water improvement. Said assessment was paid in error by a lending institution. Hearing to be held on August 15, 1966 at 6:45 P.M. Seconded by Lang. 5 Ayes. The Engineer presented a resolution regarding re- designation of State Aid Streets. Motion by Johnson to adopt Resolution #252 *evoking State Aid Streets. Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes. Motion by Johnson to adopt Resolution 253 esignating certain State Aid Streets. Seconded by Bla rd. 5 Ayes. Motion by Rustad to pay Estimate #1 for Project 1966 -3, Schedule C, and Estimate #2 for Project 1966 -3, Schedule B, to Sandstrom & Hafner in the total amount of $48,649.14. Seconded by Johnson. 5 Ayes. Motion by Malvin to pay the Police Officers that request it, the money due them for their vacation earned at their regular rate of pay. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes.
