HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000018_pg111PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting )f the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor :'stad at 7:00 P.M. on September 6, 1966 at the Village Hall - 2A 01 Highway # 10 - St. Paul, Minnesota Officials Present: Mayor; Clerk: Trustee: Officials Absent: Trustee: Trustee: Also Present: Engineer: Attorney: Public Works: Ingram C. Rustad Lloyd J. Blanchard Gary K. Lang Perry Malvin Richard Johnson Sheldon Boehn Richard Meyers Walter Skiba Motion by Blanchard to request a list of the three top c�'igible applicants from the Police Civil Service Commission to .place part time Police Officer Mike Kniss who recently resigned. Seconded by Rustad. 3 Ayes. Motion by Blanchard to advertise for bids for 1967 Police vehicle. Bids to close October 28, 1966 at 8:00 P.M. Delivery c te will be January 1, 1967. Seconded by Lang. 3 Ayes. At 7 :00 P.M. the Mayor opened the public hearing for water :._mprovement project on Spring View Lane. The Clerk read the legal notice and attested to the publishing and mailing of same. The Council announced that they would not consider the ?mprovement for the North 164' of Spring View Lane. The Mayor called for objectos and they are as follows: cy Nelson 1885 Spring View Lane `1,W. Shaw • 1862 Spring View Lane not having assessment affected 100' of frontage The Mayor called three times and there were no further ,Lbjectors. The hearing was closed at 7:30 P.M. The Council decision on this matter will be made at e next regular Council meeting to be held September 13, 1966. e Mounds View Mobile Home Park was discussed at great length. The !urchase agreement with Norseman Construction was read by the Villas Attorney, Richard Meyers. The Mobile Home Park is having problems the various contractors. They were advised to file suit .against the contractors bonds Mr. Meyers advised the Council that the park is not complete ,7d should consider removal of the trailers until said park is .::_r ?leted and complies with the Village Ordinance. The Mayor announced that the ordinance would be enforced. e Mobile Home Park must be brought up to date by October 1, 1966
