HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000018_pg113Proceedings of the Village Council Village of Mounds View Ramsey County, Minnesota The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Rustad at 8:00 p.m. on September 12, 1966 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10. Officials Present: Mayor Clerk Trustee Trustee Trustee Also Present: Engineer Attorney Deputy Clerk Public Works Treasurer Ingram C. Rustad Lloyd J. Blanchard Richard Johnson Gary Lang Perry Malvin Shelly Boehm Richard Meyers Joanne LaCasse Walter Skiba Irene Edberg Motion by Johnson to approve the minutes of August 22, 1966 presented. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes Motion by Malvin to approve the minutes of September 6, 1966 as presented. Seconded by Johnson. 5 Ayes Mr. Kenneth Ballenger reported a drainage problem on Oakwood, between Highway #8 and Quincy. Matter referred to Engineer for report. A subdivision request by Mr. R. Gustafson was referred to the Planning Commission. In answer to a request, Mr. Lang reported that the boulevard --c,as would be finished as fast as the contractor could do them with black dirt and seed, but sod would be put in where it was removed for road improvement. The matter of the 500 feet of Greenwood north of County Road I was discussed. Motion by Rustad to direct the engineer to prepare a change order to have that portion of Greenwood graded up and oil treated. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes Mr. Nelson, 5459 Quincy reported on contractor damage to curbing in front of his home. Matter referred to Engineer. The clerks office was directed to again request a traffic light on Highway #l0 at County Road H, and to request the school board and the bus company to make the same plea to the Highway Dept. A resident requested some type of cover on the drainage ditch on Woodcrest and Red Oak. After discussion,the matter was referred to the Engineer for cost estimates and assessment possibility.
