Motion by Blanchard to hire as clerk - typist: <br />Marilyn Lidberg 7618 Edgewood Dr. 8 -29 -66 <br />Mary Hudson 467 Maple Street NE 9 -19 -66 <br />Salary as set forth in salary schedule. Starting pay $1.65 per hour. <br />Seconded by Malvin, 5 Ayes <br />At 9:00 p.m. the Mayor opened the public hearing for rezoning. <br />Hearing recessed from August 22 meeting. Mr. Meyers explained the <br />chain of events leading up to this evenings hearing. <br />A letter from the petitioneer, changing his request to include <br />only rezoning for a warehouse on the eastern most 200 feet of his <br />property was read by Trustee Lang and placed on file. <br />The matter was discussed by residents and officials, as well <br />as the attorney for the petitioneer for 1: hours. Westerheim 2286 Bronson Drive <br />Although several petitions were recieved, the council stated that <br />due to the fact that the petitions were against the rezoning for an <br />amusement park, the petitions would not be considered at this <br />hearing. <br />There being no further objectors the Mayor closed the hearing. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve the rezoning, as requested, <br />of the eastern most 200 feet of the property involved, (Rezoning from <br />B1 to B3) subject to the condition of no outside storage, and sub- <br />ject to the approval and issuance of a building permit. <br />Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes <br />Rusted Naye <br />Motion passed with xequi2ed 4/5 majority. <br />
