At 9:00 p.m. the Mayor opened the public hearing for rezoning.
Hearing recessed from August 22 meeting. Mr. Meyers explained the
chain of events leading up to this evenings hearing.
A letter from the petitioneer, changing his request to include
only rezoning for a warehouse on the eastern most 200 feet of his
property was read by Trustee Lang and placed on file.
The matter was discussed by residents and officials, as well
as the attorney for the petitioneer for 1: hours. The Mayor called
for objectors and they are as follows:

Although several petitions were recieved, the council stated that
due to the fact that the petitions were against the rezoning for an
amusement park, the petitions would not be considered at this
hearing.
There being no further objectors the Mayor closed the hearing.
Motion by Blanchard to approve the rezoning, as requested,
of the eastern most 200 feet of the property involved, (Rezoning from
B1 to B3) subject to the condition of no outside storage, and sub-
ject to the approval and issuance of a building permit.
Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes
