Pursuant to due call and zotice thereof a special meeting
of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor
Rustad at 6:30 P. M. on September 19, 1966 at the Mounds View Hall
2401 Highway # 10 - St. Paul, Minnesota

Motion by Blanchard to accept final plans and specs on
improvement project 1966 -9 (Spring View Lane Water) Seconded
by Rustad.
5 Ayes
Motion by Johnson to advertise for bids for project 1966 --9. Bid
closing date to be r)ctober 3, 1966 at 12 :00 Noon. Seconded by
Lang.

The Engineer presented a change order for road project
regarding the driveway replacement. Motion by Rustad to accept
change order #2 for project 1966 -4 and change order #2 for p__o-
iect 1966 -6, and change order #2 for project 1966-8 and author-
ize Mayor and Clerk to execute. Seconded by Lang

The maintenance employees using the Village trucks will
haul fill material to project 1966 -7 (Dunkley's job)
A petition was recieved from residents on Silver Lake Road
regarding speed limit signs. The Clerk's "ffice will photostat the
etition and send original to the County Engineers with a covering
1etter urging lower speed limit.
The clerk's office was directed to send a letter to Barton
Construction asking removal of unused equipment.
Motion by Blanchard to allow a variance as requested by
:inton Whaley for a front yard set back at 2291 Knoll Dr-.ve pro
viding Mr. Piehowski gives his approval. Seconded by Malvin.

Motion by Rustad to adjourn. Seconded by Johnson,
