Persuant to due call and motice thereof a special meeting
of the Village Council was called to order by Mayor Rustad at
6:40 P. M; on dllovembei� 21, X1966 .

The Engineer presented a report for the extension of sewer
and water into Mounds View Section 17. This was read and discus-
by the Council Motion by Blanchard to accept the preliminary
report. Seconded by Johnson: 5 Ayes.
The Clerkts 2ffice was directed to refer all future lot
split' appllcetton nto''the Engineer for determination of assessmer_-",
liability.
The Engineer presented copies -of the proposed future street
plan in the Northwest corner of the Village for Council study,
The Engineer presented a letter to the Council frog Peter
Lametti Company regarding excess costs of construction due to
poor soil conditions. The Engineer feels the Village is not
liable+ This matter was referred to the Attorney for denial of
claim.
Motion by Johnson to grant the lot split to Mr. C. Seberg
at 7555 Knollwood as requested subject to filing papers and payi>rc
fees. Seconded by Lang. 5 Ayes.
The Attorney was directed to check street opening repair
ordinance.
The preliminary report for the extension of Jackson, South
of County Road I was presented. Motion by Blanchard to accept t•i
preliminary report,_ Seconded by Johnson. 5 Ayes.
The Engineer ?was directed to contact any homeowners involved
in off center locations of streets in the C -1 Area.
The Council advised the Police Dommission to wait untill
after the first of the year to present a new eligability list.
Motion by Blanchard to place Patrolman George Katseris
on full time status effective November 1, 1966. Seconded by
Johnson. 5 Ayes.
The Clerk's Office was directed to obtain a wage chart for
Police Employees from the League of Minnesota Municipalities and
turn it over to the Police Commission.
Motion by Blanchard to adjourn., Seconded by Malvin. 5 Aye'
Meeting adjourned at 8 :20 P.M.
