The Mayor commented on the safety problem with Highway #10. The County
Commissioner was contacted and he wrote a letter to the Highway Department
for us in which he listed justification and requested the installation of
A letter from our Police Chief to the Highway Department was read, requesting
traffic controls. The reply was also read indicating that they are studying the
matter further.
The Mayor requested that concerned residents write to the Commissioner of
Highways and express their concern that action be taken.

A proposed resolution in opposition to Metro government was discussed. The
Attorney defined considerations of the two bills being considered in the
legislature.
A discussion of the effect of the Metro plans on NSSSD followed. The Mayor
invited residents to make their feelings known concerning the idea of Metro
Government.
A list of 1966 disbursements by the Lakeside Bark Commission was presented
and will be on file in the office for inspection.
Resident John Radway questioned action on the rat problem. The Mayor ad-
vised that the Police normally check on this in the Spring. The Letter to
the Launching ;gad requesting the clean up of rubbish behind their building
within seven days was read.

represented by resolution #296. 5 Ayes
The Mayor opened the hearing on a special use permit for Superior 400 at
9:00 k�. M.
The Clerk acknowledged the two publications of the notice of the hearing as
required.
Superior 400 presented the plans and requested the Shopping Center Zoning be
changed to permit a Store - Station on their property on Highway Avenue and
Highway # 10 by County Road H.
Residents questioned when the Restaurant and Motel would be built. Trustee
Gary Lang stated that it appears that it will be some time before they
proceed with the other construction.
