HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000019_pg53PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA June 12, 1967 The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Rustad at 8:05 P.M. on Monday, June 12, 1967, at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. PRESENT ALSO PRESENT I.C. Rustad, Mayor Sheldon Boehm, Engineer Robert 'iialser, Clerk Richard Meyers, Attorney Gary Lang, Trustee Perry Malvin, Trustee ABSENT Richard Johnson (present after 9:OOP.M.) NI /S /P (Malvin /Lang)- To approve the minutes of May 8, 1967 4 Ayes Clarence Krans of Mounds View Industrial Developers presented plans for industrial development in Mounds View. He thanked the Mayor and others for cooperation given them. Mr. Jensen and Mr. Skiba also came forward to discuss their plans. They would like to have im- provements installed and costs assessed on some of the property. This is the property behind the Skyline Motel. A preliminary discussion followed. Mr. Hagen of Blue Nose International presented plans for a restaurant on property behind Donatelle's (This is the O'Neil property). The Attorney checked on the need for a special use permit. It will be required. The planning commission will review this first and then a special use hearing will be held. Property owners within 250 feet will be notified. Irene Edberg questioned whether a short section of Greenwood just north of Cty. Rd. I could be finished. The section will be graded and sealcoated. iYr_. Gustafson questioned Rezoning R1 -A to R3- Multiple (4- plexes) on property north of I and west of Edgewood. The planning commission will review. N/S /P (Malvin /Lang) -To direct the Engineer to prepare Sanitary Sewer assessments for Lot #1 and #2 and revise Lot #3 block #3 Gustafsons Third Addition. 4 Ayes M /S /P (Rustad /Lang) -To set Monday June 26, at 9:OOP.M. as the hearing date for the rezoning of the Gustafson property. 4 Ayes Bart Lossing submitted his resignation as janitor after accepting a new full time job. Mr, Hodges, chairman of the park board, submitted a report of park activities. Residents request for cleanup of property on Greenwood -our inspectors will check out. Trustee Malvin read the May Police report and the May B.& E. Patrol report.
