The Mayor introduced Dennis S. Zylla to the residents.
M /S /P (Rustad /Johnson) To accept the preliminary report and
cost estimate, and set a hearing for 9:30 P. M., July 10, 1967
on the Eigenheer 2nd Addition. 3 Ayes
Robert Eigenheer also requested to use a mobile home as a
temporary office. A special use permit will be required.
Mrs. Ruth ' :'hite inquired as to when the contractor plans to
replace the sod on her property. She was informed by the
Engineer that black dir-': and seed will be put there as soon
as the surfacing is done so that all the boulevards can be
done at once. She was also informed that the award made after
condemnation should include any claims for sod.
There were some complaints regarding the seeding in the area
of Irondale and '`loodcrest. The matter was referred to the
Engineer to check and make corrections as necessary.
The Rezoning Hearing opened at 9:00 P. M.
Notice of the Hearing was read. Notices were sent to all
people 250 feet around property to be rezoned.,
The Mayor called for objections:
August Spitzer, 7889 "oodlawn feels that they should keep the
residential area residential, instead of building more apart-
ments. Mr. Staples, 7710 1oodlawn, feels the building of
apartments next to his property will degrade the value. Floyd
V:.sger, 7815 ','oodlawn, is opposed. He thinks that we `have
,r; h apartments. Jim r'arker, 7768 'Food :. ' -: --They are very
opPosed to building apartments. A letter was read and is on
file in the of ice.
Mr, R. U. Gustafson stated that the land to be rezoned is
adaptable to multiple rather than single family dwellings.
The stipulation on the sale of the property, is the rezoning.
The Mayor called for objections three times. There were no
further objections. The Hearing will be continued at the
next meeting, July 10, 1967 at 8:00 P. M., when it is
expected that the whole Council will be in attendance.

Goodroad on 8280 Long Lake Road. 3 Ayes
