As you all know, our present liquor establishments have all invested over $250,000.00 each, and I see no reason why new investors couldn't invest as much, or more. I personally will not look with favor on any applicant who wants to set up a saloon in our Village and 1 am sure that most of the residents of Mounds View agree with me. 1 am not against business development, since, as you knot ,!, I am an independent businessman, and I realize the importance of commercial development, but when it comes to the issuance of our last license, my feeling is that we should do so with great care and thought. Trustee Johnson - No report. Chris Piehowski brought up the matter that Mrs. Hackett have sewer installed. Mrs. Hackett discussed the matter with the Council that she is on ADC and doesn't have a very big income. Bob Ehlers was asked to be present at the Agenda meeting July 5, 1967 at 6:30 P. M. to discuss a Bond Sale to finance M.S.A. Street Improvement.
