VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW

November 13, 1967
The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was Called
to order by Mayor Rustad at 8:03 M. on Monday, November 13, 1967
at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112.

A street light petition for County Road I and Greenwood Drive and
a request for lights in Eigenheers Addition were discussed.
M /S /P (Rustad /Walser) To install a street light at the corner of
County Road I and Greenwood Drive. 4 Ayes
Minnesota Highway Department officials appeared to request passage of
a Resolution to permit few Highway #10 and other Highway work in the
village.
Attorney Meyers recommended that council get a clause deleted
(referring to possible costs by Village in utilities movement) and
also get deleted a clatse on easement costs from the proposed contract.
Questions arose regarding new signal lights and right of way grants
on property in the new Highway #10 area.
The Highway Department reported that on the Silver Lake Road and
Highway #10 signal the state will pay 507. and the County 5070. The
County may try to share their cost with Village. Plans are prepared
and the timetable shaping up to bid letting in a couple weeks.
Tentatively bids will be received November 18 - 25 and bid opening
on November 28th.
The signal at County Road H and Highway #10 is still set for May 1968.
There is a six month delay for controller units.
After much discussion and a review of all points final approval was
delayed on the agreement. The Highway Departmeit will appear at
the agenda meeting next week.
Greenfield Park representatives questioned the timetable on park work.
Work will probably be started this week.
