HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000020_pg110PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA December 11, 1967 The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Rustad at 8:00;P.M. on Monday, December 11, 1967 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. Present: Mayor Rustad Clerk Walser Trustee Johnson Trustee Lang Trustee Malvin Also Present: Attorney Meyers Engineer Boehm Mr. Ehlers commented on current trends in the bond market and advised the council that five bids had been received for the $250,000 improvement bonds and the $140,000 MSA Street bonds offered by the Village. Bids were opened and recorded: Name 1 - Allison - Williams Company 2 - Juran & Moody, Inc. 3 - American National ' >ank & Trust Co 4 - First National Bane of St. Paul 5 - Ebin, Robertson & $ Interest 192,225.00 194,456.60 .194,502.25 194,790.00 200,690.00 Net Rate 7. 5.045 5.1038 5.105 5.11259 5.2674 A discussion of the bias and a comparison with others recently sold indicated that the 5.C, +5% rate bid by Allison- Williams Company was the lowest bid and co sistant with the market. The fiscal agent, Mr. '-biers, recommends acceptance of the lowest bid. M /S /P (Rusted /Walser) To approve Resolution #351 awarding the bid to Allison- Williams Company. 5 Ayes M /S /P (Rustad /Johnson:) To approve Resolution #352 authorizing the issuance of the bonds. 5 Ayes M /S /P (Rustad/Lang) To approve Resolution #353 establishing form and detail for MSA Street Bonds. 5 Ayes M /S /P (Malvin /Lang) To approve minutes of November 27, 1067. 5 Ayes M /S /P (Malvin /Johnson) To allow the Boy Scout Troop 4167 to use the hall for refreshments after Christmas caroling Tuesday, December 19th. Mayor Rustad announced that Fran Mueller has resigned from the Youth Activities Committee. The Mayor thanked her and others for all of the work they have done for the Youth of the community.
