Attorneys Report
A new final payment on tornado funds for $1,191.00 ( #267183) was
submitted by attorney. $70,712.36 was original claim, In 3 or 4
payments $68,949.44 has been received, Only about $800,00 could
still be disputed and it was generally agreed the payments were
satisfactory, The file will be closed,
Easements from the state have been received and filed.
Rezoning from last meeting is still pending the attorney advised.
We will reconsider the rezoning at the January 8th meeting.
Engineer Report
A request from Skiba property to deepen a sewer line.
A change order #3 for Sanitary Sewer and Water Improvement 1967 -5
prepared for deeper line - $2,200.00 approximate cost.
M /S /P (Johnson /Lang) To authorize the sewer line change. 5 Ayes
HUD asked additional questions. Engineer reported probably a final
answer in four or five weeks.
Gasoline pump installation has been completed and is operating.
Mr. Hodges questioned other than maintenance men plowing rinks on
weekends. Costa will be checked. The Greenfield rink will be used
this year.
Names of rink attendants were submitted for office file.
Mr. Ehlers reported on his check of the two lowest bids. The accepted
bid does check out as the best.
