M /S /P (Rustad /Malvin) To appoint Robert A. Walser Registrar of Voters
and set the Clerks salary at $125.00 per month. 5 Ayes
Mayor Rustad commented on efforts to get signals at Silver Lake Road and
Highway #10. The Mayor thanked Senator Tom Greig, Commissioner Ed Salverta
and Mr. Snyker of the State Highway Department for their efforts, on behalf
of himself and the citizens of Mounds View.
Mayor Rustad announced that a Federal Grant for over $900,000 has been received
by N.S.S.S.D. for their line and he thanked Senator Karth for his efforts on
our behalf.
M/S/F (Walser /Rustad) To approve Gasoline Station licenses for Long Lake "66"
and Clark Super 100, Cigarette licenses for Long Lake "66 ", Excavating licenses
for All State Plumbing Company and Dailey Homes and General Contractor license
for Metro Builders. 5 Ayes
M/S/E (Walser /Johnson) To approve check numbers - Payroll 3529 -3556, and
General 2079 -2123. 5 Ayes
M /S /P (Walser /Malvin) To approve Resolution #358, division #38207 for lot
split for tax apportionment purposes. Administrator of Veteran's affairs
Mr. and Mrs. Charrier. 5 Ayes
Announced that for the next three months, on trial basis, the Village Office
will close at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday instead of 8:00 P.M.
Request by J. & T. Contracting Inc. Sanitary Sewer Interception System to park
a trailer on 20 feet easement area North of intersection of Bronson and St. Stephen.
M /S /P (Walser /Johnson) To permit J. & T. Contracting Inc. to temporarily park
an office trailer on Village property by the utilities, as long as it is not on
the blacktop, the area is kept policed, and a satellite is provided. 5 Ayes
Received final executed copy of agreement with State of Minnesota for Highway #10
extension project.
M /S /P (Walser /Rustad) To appoint John Dolezal auditor for Mounds View for 1968.
Audit to cover January 1, 1965 - January 1, 1968. 5 Ayes
Comment of Employee Personnel Policy which is not yet ready made by Clerk Walser.
Also commented on increased efficiency of the office.
M /S /P (Walser /Johnson) To retain Mr. Dennis Zylla as Supervisor of Office
Operations for 1968 at a salary of $650.00 per month. 5 Ayes
M /S /P (Walser /Lang) To retain Mrs. Sandgren (Dorothy) as full time clerk typist
for water and sewer billing at a salary of $2.25 per hour. 5 Ayes
M /S /F (Walser /Rustad) To retain Mrs. Neumann (Maxine) on a part time basis at
a salary of $1.80 per hour with automatic change to permanent part time status
after six months employment and raise to $2.00 per hour. 5 Ayes
M /S /P (Walser /Johnson) To change the conditions of employment for Mrs. Lidberg
(Marilyn) from full time to part time Special Police Secretary and Police Woman
