Another resident questioned duplexes over apartments. Another resident questioned zoning across the road (it is commercial) and felt he would object to apartments near his home. No further objections. The hearing was closed at 8:50 P.M. The Mayor said the Planning Commission has approved the rezoning. M /S/ (Malvin /Lag) To rezone the property conditionally subject to application and building permit and street easements. Trustee Malvin withdrew his motion - individuals concerned will first work out a satisfactory route for the road. The Mayor requested that the other participants act by the next council meeting. An airport resolution urging no building closer than between 242 or Main Street was presented. The Mayor appointed Mr. Werner as chairman of a citizens group to seek petition signers against the airport proposals. Robert Knight will assist and then report at the next meeting. Clerk Walser urged no action on the resolution now or else amending it to read further north than the Main Street site. Mayor Rustad announced a petition would be in the village office for signing. The paper will publish the notice. We will need all details worked out before the April 22 hearing. M /S /P (Walser /Rustad) To approve Garbage Collectors licenses for Gallagher's Service, Inc., Fridley Sanitation, Suburban Pick -Up Service, and J & W Pick -Up Service. M /S /P (Walser /Johnson) To approve payment of bills as represented by checks numbered 2248 - 2283 (general), 1081 and 1082 (bond) and 157 - 184, check # 161 voided (payroll). Malvin suggested action on the drainage problem on Long Lake between Hillview and Sherwood Road. The Engineer will write a letter to the county. The problem with the Raymond lift station connections was discussed. The mobile home park should be billed but we will do the work. Trustee Malvin thanked the Engineer for the presentation that resulted in the village grant and also thanked the Mayor. Trustee Johnson read the police report for February. 5 Ayes 5 Ayes
