M /S /P (Malvin /Johnson) To submit specifications for and to receive bids on April 8, at 8:00 P.M. for a new pick -up truck. Trustee Johnson read the B & E report for February Trustee Lang questioned the destructive removal of playground and park equipment by the NSSSD contractor,and wondered if we must keep track of each item and monitor its repair and replacement. The Mayor stated that they are clearly responsible for putting everything back in original condition. The moving of the warming house at Woodcrest was discussed. Trustee Lang discussed the Woodcrest and Bona school walk- through. It is not improved and he has received requests that it be improved. The Engineer was directed to check on cost, for it may be included with another contract to be let this year. Trustee Malvin said it would cost $196 to raise a panel by a lift station as a result of filling done by the mobil home park. 5 Ayes 5 Ayes M /SIP (Malvin /Johnson) To authorize the Village to do this work with the Village collecting from the trailer park. 5 Ayes The Wednesday evening Civil Defense meeting was announced. Mayor Rustad reported that he has received requests to have some properties burned. The Civil Defense will be asked to help. Attorney Meyers discussed the HUD grant paperwork. All Councilmen were present and acknowledged the receipt of a special notice regarding the consideration of the HUD grant at this meeting. M /S /P (Malvin /Lang) To adopt Resolution No. 370 authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to sign the HUD grant papers. 5 Ayes Attorney Meyers reported that the Electrical Inspector, due to a new attorney general's ruling, cannot be working as an electrician. The office will check with other villages to determine what our action should be. The Degardner easement has been prepared. It should be signed before the Council acts on his request for variance and subdivision. A Resolution to permit the installation of an already installed power pole was presented. M /S /P (Rustad /Lang) To adopt Resolution #369, approving the installation of the telephone pole near Greenwood and County Road I. 5 Ayes Engineer Boehm reported that he has discussed the Long Lake drainage problem with the County.
