and commenting on availability of information to the public.
Mr. Eickstadt read tentative results of Airport petition drive. Over 2,000
contacts made with the airport petition with approximately 88% opposing the
locations.
Mr. Eickstadt requested that the MAC meeting be on a Saturday. The Council
agrees and we will add the request to our letter to MAC.
A seminar on April 26 on parks and playgrounds was discussed and Mr. Hodges,
chairman of Parks and Playgrounds, will be registered by the Village.
The letter cancelling the Eigenheer hearing was read explaining that there was
a technical error in the legal notice.

DeGardner Construction Company.

checks numbered 2319 - 2340 (general) and 209 - 223 (payroll).

M /S /P (Walser /Lang) To adopt Resolution # 371 apportioning the assessments
on Spring Lake Park Hillview Lot 133, Division # 38254, for Olson and Goodroad. 5 Ayes
M /S /P (Johnson /Lang) To approve the minutes of March 25, 1968 as amended to
read that "The Engineer was directed to review Ralph Lund subdivision ", rather
than "check on assessments ".
Trustee Malvin reported that next Wednesday is the court trial of NSSSD versus
Fridley.
Mayor Rustad announced NSSSD meetings are on the second Tuesday of the month at
7:30 P.M. near the corner of County Road "J" and Highway # 65 (1458 County Road
"J "). The public is invited to attend.
Trustee Johnson read the Police report for March.
Trustee Johnson announced that B & E will patrol twice as many hours during
the next two months to try to better control the dog problem.
Turstee Lang announced that street sweeping is being accomplished.
Trustee Lag mentioned that sand blowing from the Launching Pad has plugged
our drainage culvert.
A letter has been sent requesting the Launching Pad to seed or control the
drifting sand on their property.
A snowfence to help control the drifting sand for now, was discussed.
