Engineer Boehm reported on his review of the use of plastic pipe in buildings
of the Village. The Engineer feels Village action can authorize this use,
subject to recommended types and use considerations.
Mayor Rustad requested the Engineer draft an amendment to the building code
permitting use of plastic pipe.
Engineer Boehm proposed that the Edgewood lift staion be replaced with gravity
line to new main line.
M /S /P (Rustad /Lang) To direct Engineer to prepare preliminary report and cost
estimate on gravity line installation. 5 Ayes
M /S /P (Rustad /Lang) To prepare the final plans and specifications for the test
well program - HUD grant. 5 Ayes
Plotting of lots between Groveland and Spring Lake Road and South of County Road I
was discussed. Only requirement will be to provide an abstract.
Charles Larson of the Planning Commission is setting up hearings on streets in
the northwest area of the Village.
