June 10, 1968
the Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Acting Mayor
Malvin at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, June 10, 1968, at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10,
St. Paul, Minnesota 55112.

M /S /P Johnson /Malvin) To approve the minutes of the May 13th Meeting.
M/S7P Johnson /Malvin) To approve the minutes of the May 27th Meeting.
Mr. Neumann, 5295 Pinewood Court, received a warnings to the effect that his
rabbits were creating a nuisance. The Ordinance was checked and the issue
discussed. Mr. Neumann indicated that he is taking steps to correct the problem
and Trustee Johnson and the Police Department will check on it again.
Mr. Zylla referred to a call he had received from Mrs. Paul Winther, 2049
Woodcrest Drive. She wants: some old blacktop removed. Mr. Skiba will check
this out.
Acting Mayor Malvin reported on a problem in getting NSP emergency service
Ifter a power outage June 8, 1968. He suggested NSP be contacted with regard
co the serious nature of the problem. The office will be directed to notify
NSP to have a representative appear at the next agenda meeting.
The Richard Huhne, 8406 Red Oak Drive, Minneapolis 55432, request for a three
car garage was discussed.
M /S /P (Malvin /Johnson) To grant the Richard Huhne variance.
M /S /P (Walser /Johnson) To approve the following licenses: Asphalt License,
Blacktop Driveway Company, Asphalt Driveway and United Asphalt Company, Inc.;
Excavating Licenses - Jarson's Service Company, C. W. Houle Landscaping,
Lloyd Moen Excavating, and.Brighton Excavating Company; General Contracting
Licenses - Brede, Inc., Dullum Construction, Sussel Company, Gilbert & Koch, Inc.,
Western Construction Company, State Wide Construction, Myrum Builders, Dale
Movers, Inc., All State - American Concrete; Heating & Air Conditioning licenses -
American Oil Company (Standard Oil);On Sale Intoxicating Liquor licenses -
Launching Pad Supper Club; Off Sale Intoxicating Liquor License - B & R. Liquor;
Restaurant License - Launching Pad Supper Club; and Cabaret License - Launching
Pad Supper Club.
M /S /P (Walser /Malvin) To approve payment of bills as represented by checks
2445 - 2478 (General), 298 - 317 (payroll) checks 285, 296 and 310 voided, and
check 1084 (bond).
M /S /P (Walser /Johnson) To direct Attorney to prepare an ordinance setting
up a utility operating fund.
