HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000021_pg47PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA July 22, 1968 The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Rustad at 8:00 P.M. on Monday July 22, 1968, at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. Present: Mayor Rustad Councilman Malvin Councilman Johnson Councilman Lang Absent: Also Present: Deputy Clerk Zylla Engineer Boehm Attorney Meyers Clerk Walser M /S /P (Johnson /Lang) To approve the minutes of July 8, 1968. M /S /P (Lang /Malvin) To approve the minutes of July 15, 1968. 4 Ayes 4 Ayes Residents requests and comments: M /S /P (Rustad /Malvin) To authorize NSP to install a street light in the middle of the 2200 block on Pinewood between Jackson and Quincy. A petition was received. 4 Ayes Ralph Edberg and Dale Bentley would like to have the property at 7869 Greenwood Drive cleaned up, the house(painted, and the septic tank system inspected. Police will check septic system and the Clerks office will write First Federal Savings and Loan to bring this matter to their attention. Clerk Walser arrived at 8:10 P.M. Mr. Arthur Attleson questioned the subdivision of Lots 108 and 109 Knollwood Park Addition and the assessment apportionment thereof. The Council discussed the development of all portions of this property. M /S /P (Rustad /Lang) to approve the subdivision of the S 100' of Lots 108 and 109 Knollwood Park Addition for A. Attleson subject to the payment of fees. 5 Ayes M /S /P (Rustad /Malvin) To approve the subdivision of the E 185' of Lot 83 Knollwood Park Addition for Ed Dropps Jr., subject to the payment of all addition assessments. 5 Ayes Mrs. Florence Peterson requested that a trailer house located at 2250 Knoll Drive be removed since she is selling her home and the trailer is an objectionable sight to a potential purchaser. Mr. Ralph Edberg asked about the care of the unimproved portion of Greenwood Drive north of County Road I. The County will take care of it this fall. Mr, Lloyd Blanchard inquired about the trailer at Silver Lake Road and Highway 10. The Clerk's office will check on it. Mr. Varnes requested that the Minar property be cleaned of dead trees and brush. The Clerk's office will write a letter to Mr. Minar,
