The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order
by Mayor Rustad at 8:02 P.M. on Monday, October 14, 1968, at the Village Hall,
2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112.

MSP (Malvin /Lang) To approve the minutes of September 23rd.
MSP (Rustad /Malvin) To approve the minutes of September 27th.
MSP (Malvin /Lang) To approve the minutes of October 7th.
Bids opened on 1969 police station wagon at 8:05 P.M. Deputy Clerk read the
legal notice and attested to its publication. Only one bid received. Southview
Chevrolet without trade - $3,740.00, with trade - $3,180.00.
MSP (Malvin /Lang) To reject bid and readvertise for 8:00 P.M., October 28th.
Clerks office to send out bids.
Dan Vaughn appeared requesting rezoning for part of lots 58 and 59, Auditors
Subdivision 89. Hearing previously held September 23 and rezoning failed by
one vote.
MSP (Rustad /Malvin) To set rezoning hearing for Parcel (1) Ex N 150' of Lot 59
Auditors Subdivision No. 89 and Parcel (2) Ex W 100' lying N'ly of S'ly-514.63' of
Lot 58 Auditors Subdivision No. 89, for October 28 at 8:30 P.M.

Ken Pream appeared requesting to put an auto body shop on County Road I and Adams.
Property now B -2. Auto body permitted under. I -1 only. Told to come to agenda meeting.
MSP (Rustad /Malvin) To set rezoning hearing for November 4, 1968 for 7:00 P.M.
Lot 100 Spring Lake Park Knolls Addition. R1 - R2 for George Johnson. 3 Ayes
Anthony Holshuh showed Council new preliminary plat.
MSP (Rustad /Lang) To grant building permit to E. Gustafson for stores and offices
subject to approval of building inspector for Lots 1, 2, 30 Greenfield Plat #2,
conditionally rezoned 11/22/65.

Residents requested information on rabbit ordinance. Attorney read proposed ordinance.
Discussion followed. Council and residents would like to see it broadened, foul
should be included. Attorney to revise.
Mayor Rustad called improvement hearing Sanitary Sewer, Water and Street Improvement
1968 -4 to order at 8:40 P.M. Clerk read legal notice and attested to its publication
in the New Brighton Bulletin, September 12th and 19th. Three property owners affected.
Est. cost $59,132.00.

SE 1/4.

Engineer reported on estimated costs per foot.
