The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order
by Mayor Rustad at 8:02 P.M. on Monday, October 28, 1968, at the Village Hall,
2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112.

Councilman Johnson
Councilman Lang

Attorney Meyers
Engineer Boehm
MSP (Lang /Rustad) To approve the minutes of October 14, 1968.
Mayor asked for bids on 1969 police station wagon.
Bidders were:

Johnson Abstained
MSP (Johnson /Malvin) To accept the low bid of Midway Ford for $2,795.00 less
$50.00 for no heavy duty shocks ($2,745.00).
Residents Requests and Comments:
Vern Olson desires to build another garage at 7933 Fairchild. Planning Commission
denied since he was not present at meeting October 15th. Referred to building
inspector.
Robert Waste wants approval for another building on his lot for rabbit housing.
Attorney stated special permit called for, and hearing. Waste stated apprc,val
previously given by building inspector and one Councilman. Johnson stated no
such approval given. Building inspector told to enforce code only. Waste may
have been misinformed in error. Howerver, he previously was told to contact
police for violation information also.
MSP (Rustad /Malvin) To set regular meeting for Wednesday, November 13th, at
8:00 P.M. eliminating the November llth meeting because of Veterans Day.

MSP (Rustad /Johnson) To set rezoning hearing for Arthur Attleson for Ex S 200'
of Lot 108, 109 Knollwood Park Addition R1 - R3 for November 13th at 8 :30 P.M. 4 Ayes
Otis Hilbert presented rezoning application for storage and minor truck repair
at 1859 Highway #10. A motor carrier. Told he needed I -1 zoning with action
needed by Planning Commission.
