November 13, 1968
The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order
by Mayor Rustad at 8:01 P.M. on Wednesday, November 13, 1968, at the Village Hall,
2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112.

MSP (Johnson /Lang) To approve the minutes of November 4, 1968.
MSP (Rustad /Malvin) To approve the minutes of November 7, 1968.
Council wanted more time to study the October 28, 1968 minutes.
Attorney Otis Hilbert requested a hearing date be set to rezone Lot 31 Except
W 50' Auditors Subdivision #89 (1859 Highway #10) from RI to B3 for motor
vehicle transfer and storage.
MSP (Rustad /Johnson) To set hearing for December 9, 1968 at 8:30 P.M.
MSP (Malvin /Johnson)
claim deed to Anthoney C. Holschuh for the North
except the East 30', the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of
Township 30, Range 23.
Joe Siwek and E. M. Gideo appeared to request building permits for apartment
buildings on Silver Lake Road between County Road I and Highway #10. Special
use permit issued to Gideo September 9,1968. A discussion followed on what was
being done to correct and improve the Siwek apartments on County Road I and
Jackson.
MSP (Johnson /Lang) To hold up any building permits until the apartments are
in staisfactory condition.
Mayor called the rezoning hearing to order at 8:34 P.M. Clerk Typist Sandgren
read legal notice and attested to its publication in the New Brighton Bulletin
October 31 and November 7, 1968. Legal - Except S 200' of Lots 108 and 109
Knollwood Park Addition. Request R1 to R3. Objectors were called for: Those
against the rezoning were John Robertus - 2055 County Road H - too much traffic
on Silver Lake Road now. David Glubke - 1940 Woodcrest - He presented a petition
signed by approximately 60 people in the area. It is a residential area and he
wants it kept that way. Gary Horning - 2018 Woodcrest - It is next to his
property and he moved out here for privacy. Mr. Hutchinson - 2049 Woodcrest,
agreed with Mr. Robertus. Mr. Arthur Attleson withdrew his request to rezone
the property. Hearing closed at 8:42 P.M.
