HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000022_pg02PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA January 13, 1969 The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Rustad at 8:02 P.M. on Monday, January 13, 1969, at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. Present: Mayor Rustad Councilman Hodges Councilman Blanchard Absent: Councilman Johnson Councilman Malvin Also Present: Clerk- Administrator Zylla Attorney Meyers Engineer Boehm Mayor Rustad welcomed new Councilmen Hodges and Blanchard to the first regular meeting and stated that both were active since incorporation in 1958 and both are still two of the most active civic leaders in the community. MSP (Rustad /Blanchard) To approve minutes of December 16, 1968. 1 Aye Blanchard & Hodges abstaining MSP (Rustad /Hodges) To approve the minutes of January 6, 1969. 3 Ayes Resident's Requests and Comments: J.J. Strangis of Preferred Builders requested some utility and drainage easements be abated on Lots 1 and 2 Park View Terrace. Attorneys to confer. Mayor Rustad's Report MSP (Rustad /Blanchard) To appoint Jim Haluptzok and Bob Shelquist to Lakeside Park Committee. Dick Johnson to remain Council representative. 3 Ayes MSP (Rustad /Hodges) To appoint Planning Commission members 3 Ayes Council Representative - I. C. Rustad. Chairman - Milt Stole, Alvin Hillsdale, Charlotte Forslund, Charles Larson, Phyllis Blanchard, Bob Larson, George Gustafson, James Burgraff. MSP (Rustad /Blanchard) To appoint the law firm of Feinberg, Mirviss, Meyers,3 Ayes Schumacher & Malmon, Village attorney. MSP (Rustad /Hodges) To appoint the firm of Comstock & Davis Village Engineer.3 Ayes MSP (Rustad /Blanchard) To appoint W. Skiba Superintendent of Public Works and Plumbing and Heating Inspector, Chris Piehowski Building Inspector, and Bob Edmond Electrical Inspector. 3 Ayes MSP (Rustad /Hodges) To appoint Councilman Blanchard Council Representative on the Human Rights Commission. 3 Ayes MSP (Rustad /Blanchard) To adopt the following salaries for 1969 and retain Dorothy Sandgren, clerk- typist at $2.50 per hour plus $30.00 per month health insurance, Maxine Neumann, clerk- typist at $2.15 per hour, no health insurance Nora Adleman , Clerk- typist at $2.15 per hour, no health insurance. Marilyn Lidberg, police Secretary $2.55 per hour, no health insurance.
