HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000022_pg09MSP (Hodges /Blanchard) To approve Resolution #425 apportioning the assessments on Division #39783. 4 Ayes Councilman Johnson's Report Councilman Johnson stated that a previously passed resolution requesting NSSSD to make a study of the Minneapolis offer was not acted upon at the last meeting. The resolution is scheduled to be discussed tomorrow night. Mayor Rustad interjected that a metropolitan sewer bill was expected to be introduced in the legislature this week. Councilman Hodges' Report Councilman Hodges submitted a list of the Recreation Committee members for 1969. He asked any interested residents who wanted to be a member of the committee to contact him. There was still one opening. Councilman Blanchard no report. Robert Edmond, electrical inspector, stated that he had attended a League of Minnesota Municipalities seminar. Attorney Meyers' Report Attorney Meyers stated that in his interpretation our garbage and rubbish ordinance did prohibit the placing of garbage cans nearer than the side of the building. Attorney Meyers stated he still is in the process of studying the snowmobile ordinance. Attorney Meyers presented Resolution #426, adopted in December, in which the Council went on record as in favor of a metropolitan zoo. MSP (Blanchard /Johnson) To approve Resolution #427 abating certain assessments in Block 1 Holchuh Addition. 4 Ayes MSP (Johnson /Hodges) To approve Resolution #428 releasing easement rights on Lots 1 and 2 Parkview Terrace. 4 Ayes The regular meeting recessed at 8:30 P.M.
