MSP (Rustad /Malvin) Mayor Rustad moved that the Village Attorney be instructed
to review our present zoning ordinances and to do the necessary research to prepare
appropriate amendments to our ordinance regarding rehearing on zoning matters that
have been previously denied by the Council. 5 Ayes
MSP (Blanchard /Johnson) To deny the rezoning request from R1 to B3 for William
Gillespie, 2045 Highway #10. The S 300' of Lot 61 Auditors Subdivision #89. 5 Ayes
MSP (Malvin /Hodges) To approve the Herbst rezoning request from R1 To B3 for
the land generally located 1,000' NW of the intersection of County Road H and
Highway #10. Legal description: All that part of the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of
Section 8, Township 30, Range 23 lying SWly of right -of -way of STH #10 and N of
a line running parallel with and distant 958.59' N of the Sly line of said 1/4
1/4 Section line; except - Part of the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 8,
Township 30, Range 23 described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the
N line of the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 8, Township 30, Range 23 and the
SWly right -of -way of STH #10; thence W along said N line 125'; thence S at right

and Payroll checks #817 -844. Total disbursements $12,995.59.
Clerk Zylla announced that he is preparing an instructional sheet on how to compute
your property tax from your tax statement. The sheets should be ready in the Village
Hall by Tuesday.
Mayor Rustad called the rezoning hearing to order at 8:30 P.M.
Mayor Rustad asked for petitions. Harold Hjelle, 5161 Red Oak, presented petitions
against the rezoning. 299 names on the petitions. Howard Niesen, 5150 Irondale
Road, presented petitions with 129 names against the rezoning.
