June 23, 1969
The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by
Mayor Rustad at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, June 23, 1969, at the Village Hall, 2401
Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112.

MSP (Blanchard /Malvin) To approve the minutes of June 9, 1969. 5 Ayes
MSP (Johnson /Hodges) To approve the minutes of June 16, 1969. 4 Ayes

Residents Requests and Comments
MSP (Rustad /Malvin) To grant a special permit to John Lewanowicz to park a
mobile home on his property at 7630 Greenfield for 30 days so that he may sell
it.
Mayor Rustad's Report
Mayor Rustad read the Planning Commission minutes of June 17, 1969.

MSP (Johnson /Malvin) To grant a special permit to Ernest Danielson, 8445 Eastwood
Road for an accessory building in addition to his garage for a period of one year. 4 Ayes
Blanchard Naye
MSP (Blanchard /Johnson) To approve the subdivision request for Jerome Neros, 7501
Groveland Road, to subdivide except the South 100' Lot 13 Spring Lake Park Knolls
Addition. 5 Ayes
MSP (Johnson /Hodges) To approve the subdivision request for First Federal Savings
and Loan of St. Paul to divide Lot 23 Spring Lake Park Hillview Addition subject to
payment of fee. 5 Ayes
MSP (Johnson /Malvin) To authorize the installation of street lights at the corner
of Woodale and Silver Lake Road and Woodcrest and Silver Lake Road. A petition was
received for a light at Woodale and Silver Lake Road. 5 Ayes
A letter was read by Mayor Rustad from the Lakeside Park Commission requesting
Mounds View to secure the services of Ramsey County to scarify and resurface
the parking lot at Lakeside Park at the earliest possible date. The Clerk's
office is to notify Ramsey County.
MSP (Malvin /Johnson) To raise the salary of the custodian, Robert Hodges, from
$1.60 to $2.10 per hour. 4 Ayes
Hodges Abstained
Mayor Rustad also read a letter from Anton Frank inviting Council attendance at
a ceremony for Scout Troop #167 in which Michael Gaffron is receiving the Eagle
rank.
