engineer on the water interconnection between Fridley and Mounds View. A
contract has been drawn and acted on by the City of Fridley.
MSP (Blanchard /Malvin) To enter into a contract with the City of Fridley
regarding a proposed water interconnection and to authorize the Mayor and Clerk
to sign it.
Engineer Boehm also noted that he had received a letter from the Highway Department
on the new Highway #10 contract which will be let after September 26, 1969. The
Council was concerned that the Watson property located north of the new highway
will not be served properly with sewer and water unless the necessary engineering
steps are taken now to provide the service under the new;highway. Engineer Boehm
has been ragtiested to send a letter to the highway requesting the Highway Department
pay any costs of providing the service because of the highway construction.
