January 5, 1970
A Special Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by
Mayor Rustad at 6:40 P.M. on Monday, January 5, 1970, at the Village Hall,
2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112.

Mayor Rustad
Councilman Malvin
Councilman Hodges
Councilman Neisen
Absent:
Councilman Blanchard

Clerk- Administrator Zylla
Engineer Boehm
Inspector Skiba
MSP (Malvin /Hodges) To approve the First State Bank of New Brighton as the
official depository and the New Brighton Bulletin as the legal newspaper for
1970. 4 Ayes
MSP (Rustad /Hodges) To approve the appointment of Perry Malvin as acting
mayor for 1970. 4 Ayes
MSP (Hodges /Malvin) To raise the salaries of the rink attendants from $1.50
per hour to $1.80 per hour effective 1970. 4 Ayes
MSP (Rustad /Neisen) To approve the surety bond for Justice of the Peace
Verner Carlson totaling $1,000.00. 4 Ayes
MSP (Hodges /Malvin) To authorize Building Inspector, Walter Skiba, to attend
the Building Inspectors Institute January 19 -21 at the Pick Nicolett and to
authorize the payment of the $25.00 registration fee and expenses. 4 Ayes
MSP (Malvin /Hodges) To adjourn at 6:45 P.M. 4 Ayes
