January 26, 1970
The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by
Acting Mayor Malvin at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, January 26, 1970, at the Village
Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112.

MSP (Hodges /Blanchard) To approve the minutes of January 12th, 1970.
Acting Mayor Malvin's Report
Acting Mayor Malvin announced Mayor Rustad's remaining committee appointments
which are as follows: Industrial Development Committee - Richard Schoenhardt-
5170 Bona Road, Chris Piehowski -2259 Pinewood Drive, Howard Neisen -5150 Irondale
Road, Stuart Rothgeber -5200 Greenfield Avenue, Charles Jaeger, 1955 Bronson
Drive,and Irvin Herbst -8180 Eastwood Road, and to the Human Rights Commission -
Susan Hammond -8071 Long Lake Road.
MSP (Malvin /Blanchard) To allow one policeman to attend the Juvenile Officers
Institute seminar on juvenile drug abuse February 24 -26 at the Leamington Hotel,
and to pay the $30.00 registration fee.
MSP (Malvin /Hodges) To raise the salary of Clerk- Administrator Dennis Zylla
to $910.00 per month plus $14.05 health and life insurance adjusted to
January 1, 1970.
Clerk- Administrator Zylla's Report
MSP (Blanchard /Malvin) To approve the following licenses: Cigarette - Superior
Music Company for Bob's 66 Service, General Contractor - Bennis Construction
Company, Heating - Cranstrom's Heating, and Sewer and Water - M. M. Kircher.
MSP (Blanchard /Neisen) To approve the following bills: General Check #s
3879 -3916 and Payroll Check #s 1253 -1287. Total Disbursements $26,498.18.
Some discussion ensued over check #3910 at which time it was noted that the
$6,150.00 offer was made over one year ago, and even though the Village may
be able to obtain the land under condemnation in an upcoming plat, the
Council felt the good faith offer should be upheld.

MSP (Hodges /Malvin) To approve Resolution #476 abating certain assessments
on Division #41146. 4 Ayes
