Mayor Rustad read the Planning Commission minutes of July 21st.
MSP (Malvin /Hodges) To approve the subdivision of Lot 1 Auditors Subdivision
#89 into three lots for Earl Holmberg, 1780 County Road J. 5 Ayes
Clerk - Administrator Zylla's Report
MSP (Blanchard /Malvin) To approve the following licenses and to waive the
fee for North Minneapolis Recreation Development. Asphalt - Northern Asphalt
Construction Inc., Diamond T Asphalt, Stone Masonry & Concrete; Excavating -
Jerry's Excavating; Heating - Standard Oil, Cronstroms Heating & Air Cond.,
Superior Furnace Co.; Sewer and Water - Homers Sewer Service and Solicitor -
North Minneapolis Recreation Development.
MSP (Blanchard /Hodges) To approve the following bills: General Ck #s 4307 -
4338, WS- MINN -45 Ck# 030, Bond Ck #498 and Payroll Ck #s 1559 -1586. Total
disbursements $18,457.82.
MSP (Rustad /Hodges) To adopt Resolution #494 apportioning the assessments
on Division #41859 for Wayne Depew.
MSP (Malvin /Blanchard) To adopt Resolution #495 apportioning the assessments
on Division #41977 for Jirovic Addition.
Councilman Malvin's Report
Councilman Malvin reported on the fine job Chief Grabowski did in recovering
stolen merchandise in the Knollwood area.
Councilman Hodges' Report
Councilman Hodges reported that the Mounds View Lions began construction on
the Wayside Park shelter on July 21st.
Brauer and Associates have submitted the park plan and it is being reviewed by
the Recreation Committee.
Councilman Blanchard's Report
MSP (Blanchard /Rustad) To authorize the installation of a street light at the
intersection of Ardan Avenue and Eastwood and 1/4 way South of the intersection
of Pleasant View Drive and Woodale Drive.

Councilman Neisen discussed a drainage problem near 2103 Pinewood Drive. Engineer
Boehm is to ask the State to raise the catch basinand change the cover to
prevent large pieces of debris from plugging it up.
Attorney Meyers' Report
Attorney Meyers was authorized to prepare a resolution supporting an amendment
to the constitution changing the definition of tax exempt property.
