The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by
.a 3tad at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, September 14, 1970, at the Village Hall,
2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112.

MSP (Malvin /Blanchard) To appr:,vi the minuteo of August 24, 1970.
MSP (Neisen %Hodges) To issue a building permit for a modular_ home to Paul
Crandall Jr. at 2766 Sherwood Road rescinding the permit issued to Richard
Koskinen, 2039 Woodale, on July 27th.

Mayor Rustad presented to Attorney Meyers a copy of an explosive control ordnance
received from the State Attorney General's Office.

MSP (Rustad/Malvin) To approve check #4439 to Layne Minnesota Company the final
estimate on Project 1970 -2, repair of Well #2, and to enter into a one year
maintenance agreement. 5 Ayes
MSP (Malvin / Rustad) To advertise for bids for a 1971 police station wagon,
with bid opening on October 12th at 8:00 P.M.
Clerk - Administrator Z,rlla read a letter from the persons bordering the Edgewood
walkway requesting that it be fenced at Village expensa. Discussion followed on
costs, the possibility of setting a precedent for fencing v :LlLage property, and
the placement of the walkway. The Clerk's Office is to contact the School
District to see about a possible cost sharing.
