Councilman Hodges read the lettec of resignation from Marilyn Dawson, secretary
of the Parks and Playgrounds Committee for the last nine years and member for
twelve.
MSP (Hodges/Rustad) To accept the re.ii nation of Marilyn Dawson from the
Parks and Playground Committee with regret and to send her a letter thanking
her for her service.
Councilman Hodges announced that another meeting with Brauer and Associates is
scheduled for September 22nd.

MSP (Blanchard /lzstal) To pay the 1970 arrears for use charges to the NSSSD
totaling $25,443.00.
Councilman Neisen's Rte,
Councilman Neisen 2eported that all streets have been patched, the parking lot
repaired and street signs being replaced and repaired.
Mayor Rustad called the George Brooks rezoning hearing to order at 8:32 P.M.
Clerk - Administrator Zy.11a read the legal notice and attested to its publication
in the New Brighton Bulletin September 3 and 10. Legal: N '125' of the E 100'
as measured along the E and N lines thereof, of Lot 1, Auditors Subdix ;_lion
No. 89 Ramsey County, Minnesota.
David Ross, 8477 Spring Lake Road, requested information on the effect of the
rezoning on his property.
George Brooks showed preliminary plans and s to -Oft ; A it the market value of the
home was $36,000.
Mayor Rustad called for objections. There were none.

the E 100' as measured along the E and N lines thereof, of Lot 1, Auditors
Subdivision No. 89 Ramsey County, Minnesota subject to the issuance of a
building permit.

Attorney Meyers announced that he had in his golf course file a letter from the
Highway Department on the availability of the Jackson farm property, a letter
from the Watson Construction Company attorneys on the purchase price requested,
and a copy of a notice of hearing which must be published if a hearing is to be
held. The notice is to include the estimated cost of the course development,
land cost and any paTuen;; .needed for •taxes and assessments.
