NOTICE OF ASSESSMENT NEARING
MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENTS
VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW,
MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That the
Viliege Council of the Village of Mounds
View, Minnesota will meet at the Village
Hall, 2401 Highway No. 10, in said Village on
Monday, September 21, 1970, at 6:30 o'clock
P.M. for the purpose of conducting a public
hearing on the assessments proposed to be
made( against property benefited by
Municipal Improvements. Said im-
provement consists of the following work:
1. WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENTS
A. County Road J— Eastwood Road to
Groveland Road. •
B. Eastwood Road — County Road J to 500'
South.
C. Long Lake Road (West) — County Road J
to Arden Avenue.
D. Sherwood Road — Jackson Drive to
Quincy Street.
E. County Road 1— Groveland Road to S. T.
H. 10.
F. State Trunk Hwy. 10 (South)— County
Road 1. to Long Lake Road.
G. Long l,,ake Road— S.T.H. 10 to Woodale
Drive. •
H. Ridge Lane —Long Lake Road to Iron-
dale Road.
I. State Trunk Hwy. 10— Raymond Avenue
to County Road H.
J. Raymond Avenue — County Road H to
County Road 14-2.
K. Woodland, Avenue— Jackson Drive to
Quincy Streit).
L. Woodale Drive (North) — Pleasant View
Drive to 300' least.
M. Interstate Hwy. 35W (West)-42' North

The area proposed to be assessed for
special benefit derived from said im-
provement is every lot, piece and parcel
abutting on the above described streets and
Highways.
The roll of assessments is now on file in .
the office of the Village Clerk.
AU persons whose property mitt be so
assessed may, at the above stated tiMaand
place, present oral or written objections to
said assessments.

Engineer Boehm described the project and pointed out the areas to be assessed on
a map. He stat31 that watermain was being assessed $5.50 p32. foot and water services
were being assessed $125.11 ev2h,.
Mr. Danielson, 8445 Eastwood Road, objected to water assessment in back since water
was in front on Eastwood Road. Engineer Boehm explained that this assessment was
on a new lot (Lot 5) which did not border. Da Eastwood Road. Itc. Danielson also
would .like reimbursement for a cut tractor tire ($20). He feels a service should
be installed to Lot 5 also. Min. Danielson doesnit feel he has benefited.
Mr, Peary Copeland, representing White Oak Builder's, requested information on the
calculation o=' frontage for parcel O30 --81 and 170 - -5:) in Section 7 and S respectively.
He stated parcel 030• -81 should nob be assessed for more than 184 feet. He stated
he (canted parcel 170 -50 recalculated since he does n;t '_;el the 1633.3 foot figure
used by the engineer is a
curate.
Mr. Danielson asked abut having his property resurveyed since the contractor knocked
out some stakes. Mayor Rustad stated that he should :include his comments in a letter
to the Council before final payment is made to the contractor.
