Councilman Hodges announced that October 28th was the presentation date set for
the Brauer Park Plan.
Councilman Hodges thanked the Mounds View Lions and the Mrs. Jaycees for the
park shelter and two swinging gates respectively.
Councilman Neisents Report
Councilman Neisen stated that Woodale West of Long Lake Road had been graded.
In addition the sewer problem on Silver Lake Road had been taken care of.
Engineer Boehm's Report
Engineer Boehm announced that the HUD project was progressing rapidly. He
remarked that the new water tower had been painted three times with "Class of 71 ".
He received one fencing estimate of $2,500.
MSP (Blanchard / Neisen) To authorize the engineer to prepare final plans and
specifications for fencing the 500,000 gallon water tower.
Engineer Boehm explained the tentative solution to serving the property of
White Oak Builders with water as explained in the preliminary report for
Project 1970 -4. White Oak is to construct the extension at their own expense
with a credit allowed if the main is ever extended across their property.
Attorney Meyers was instructed to draw up an agreement.
