HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000025_pg088PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA December 14, 1970 The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Rustad at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, December 14, 1970, at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. Present: Mayor Rustad Councilman Malvin Councilman Hodges Councilman Blanchard Councilman Neisen Also Present: Clerk - Administrator Zylla Attorney Meyers Engineer Boehm MSP (Blanchard /Neisen) To approve the minutes of November 23, 1970. 5 Ayes Residents Requests and Comments from the floor MSP (Malvin /Hodges) To issue two building permits to Michael Rich of T.M. Willmus Construction Company for two 35 unit apartment buildings subject to the approval of all construction plans by our inspection department and the fire department. Buildings are located West of the intersection of Long Lake Road and County Road H2. Roger Baumgartner questioned the authenticity of the building code since some items were crossed out with other items writteniin. Information was given that all changes were per ordinance amendments. Clerk - Administrator Zylla's Report MSP (Rustad /Hodges) To approve the following licenses: Excavator - Harry Koalska Contr. Co.; Heating - Swenson Heating & Air Conditioning; General Contractor - Pierson - Whitney, Inc. and R. D. Welty & Sons. MSP (Blanchard /Malvin) To approve the following bills: General Checks #4718- 4760, Payroll Checks #1786 -1806, Bond Check # 589 and WS- MINN -45 Checks # 069, 072 and 073. Total disbursements $227,455.77. MSP (Rustad /Malvin) To approve Resolution #506 apportioning the assessments on Division #42504 for Ex N 100' of Lot 91 and all of 92 Spring Lake Park Knolls Addition. Councilman Malvin's Report Councilman Malvin read the police report for November. Councilman Blanchard's Report Councilman Blanchard talked about the satisfying results achieved by the NSSSD and staff this last year of operation. He mentioned the credit apportionment increase from $350 to $235,000 (for Mounds View) obtained by the Board and answered questions from the floor on the functioning of the new Sewer Board relative to costs. 5 Ayes 5 Ayes 5 Ayes 5 Ayes 5 Ayes
